Recreate Your Life with Herbs

No matter what your problem or need, there is likely to be an herb that is just right for you! After all, herbs have played an important role in man’s life for thousands of years. Even with the miracles of modern medicine, just like the ancients of yesterday, we use herbs to keep us robust, safe and strong, improving both our health and well-being.

Did You Know That Most People Refer to Herbs As Weed?

It’s true that herbs have been around since the beginning of human history. However, it’s just in recent times that Western societies are finally realizing the great power of herbs. With so many applications and so many different types and functions, these seemingly innocuous plants have come to the attention of our modern culture.

These powerful herbs have the capability of helping to alleviate PMS symptoms, cure chronic conditions, and help regulate blood pressure. Herbs have been shown to heal stomach ailments, improve mood, lose weight, stave off the common cold, and even to help us quit smoking. When used as a flavorful addition to our food, herbs can boost our immune system and contribute to better overall health. While modern society is often quick to use the latest technology to cure our ills, herbal remedies are all natural, without dangerous side effects. Therefore, it’s no wonder that over a quarter of prescription drugs on the market today contain some sort of plant derivative.

More Than 10 Specific Herbs Are Mentioned In The Bible. That’s right. Just as we’ve heard in the saying, “Everything old is new again,” herbs are enjoying a popular resurgence. However, we’re not talking about your grandmother’s version of herbs. Today’s herbs come in a diversity of forms, from herb-scented bath oil to fancy pre-packaged teas and even one of my favorites, herb-infused dipping oils that are served with bread for a snack.

Fancy herbal potpourris, sold at upscale boutiques and dishes featuring trendy herbs are offered at the hottest, most exclusive restaurants.  Celebrities shell out big bucks for herbal cosmetics and skin care products, and herb-scented candles can cost upwards of $50 or even $100! However, just because we’ve learned to embrace the more sophisticated herbal products and more expensive herbal remedies, we still revere the purity of fresh herbs.

From ancient times to modern times, we’ve come a long way from the days of simply boiling rosemary twigs in water!
